Kitchen station, Potholder, Spatula, Spoon
It can be pantomime pancakes or make-believe mac-n-cheese, but whatever your little Emeril cooks up, you can bet he'll have a blast when it gets made in the Head Chef's Kitchen Station. Made from MDF, a dense type of engineered wood that resists warping, this play kitchen has everything that your next top chef needs to get dinner started. Big enough for group play, this kitchen has all the touches that will keep every dish spiced with imagination. Working knobs on the stove, separated refrigerator and freezer compartments, opening doors on the oven, microwave, dishwasher, and refrigerator only add to the complete setting. From prep to cleanup there's enough room to get the job done, and when it's time to shut it down, the opening compartments double as storage for all the plastic food and utensils you can scare up. All the surface details are made of durable appliques, and the kitchen sink is removable for easy cleaning. A spatula, potholder, and spoon are included, and there's even a phone for taking the reservations that are sure to start pouring in. Order up! Recommended ages 3-6 years. Dimensions: 42W x 16D x 42H inches.

We purchased this for our two & half year old daughter as a Christmas gift. We browsed through many different play kitchens on the internet prior to selecting this KidKraft Head Chef's Kitchen Station. It first caught our eye because of its gender neutral color. We have a four month old baby boy too. You'll be surprised how heavy the box is when it arrives. This is a solid play kitchen. It looks exactly like the picture. It is simple yet full of imaginative components for your child to enjoy for hours & hours of play. It did take me three full hours to put it together. The directions are clear. Make sure to take your time and carefully line up the sections so you do not mistakenly damage or accidently scratch the other boards. Most of the bolts are the "hex" types. The assembly kit includes a small tool to tighten these "hex" bolts. You might experience a few pre-drilled holes not lining up and you will have to work through this by carefully pulling or pushing the section components to line up the holes. Slowly, but surely you'll see the play kitchen come together nicely when you follow the instructions through each step. Make sure to turn over the hardware (screws, clips, bolts, etc) packaging and open it only from the backside...it will make the process much easier when following the directions. This play kitchen is compressed wood particle board, but do not be concerned because the construction is solid once you put it together. If there are any problems, damaged parts, or missing parts when you open the box; there is a sheet of paper with the message "Experiencing problems with your new KidCraft product? Please let us help! Call the Dallas-based Customer Service team Monday through Friday 8:30 am to 5 pm Central Standard Time." You might have some hesitation because this wooden play kitchen does not have buttons to push, sounds, or lights like plastic models; don't hesitate because this KidCraft kitchen is full of visual components, clicking knobs, and added items. (a cordless phone, three hanging kitchen accesories, a clock with self moving hands, an oven next to a dishwasher with a moving shelf in each, and microwave with painted numbers) Plus, our home is a one level 1,200 sf concrete slab ranch with minimal space and this play kitchen fits extremely well into our modest square footage home. We highly recommend this particular play kitchen for those parents browsing through the many different types of play kitchens. Just be prepared that it will take 3 hours to put it all together. Once finished you'll say its perfect for your son or daughter for years to come. - Kevin (the southerner)& Anne (the northerner...native of Acton, Massachusets)

Comments about KidKraft Head Chef's Kitchen Station:
I am an older grandmother in the middle of creating a fun place for my grandaughter to get lost in play. I put this together and really my comments are that is was much easier than I had anticipated. It took 3 hours but I was in no hurry and I did have 1 screw leftover at the end because the holes for the last one wasn't aligned. It was the hole on top above the freezer handle. I have no doubts about the future fun this will provide...only my carpentry skills.

Comments about KidKraft Head Chef's Kitchen Station:
I purchased this kitchen station for my newly 3 year old son. He LOVES it! It's the perfect size and height for him. Lots of storage for pretend food, plates, silverware, pots and pans, etc.... As the mother of 4 boys, I like the physical appearance of the kitchen station- not "girly" at all, and I like the sturdiness of the product. I would definately recommend this product for any toddler who loves to "cook".
